Children chased to ball and had breakfast slowly in the morning, so it was a slower morning than usual. The youngest brother tried to open the shelf door with the headphone code instead of the key; of course, it’s not a key, so he couldn’t open it. He saw a face reflected in the doorknob, he said “〇〇’s face!”,and he smiled.
Today, from morning until bedtime, they kept asking to be cuddled and picked up, and every time I did, she said “so fun!” and got super excited. When we went shopping with the family, their dad gave them a yogurt drink even before paying. I’d heard that in Australia, it’s okay to eat before paying as long as you put it through the register, but I was surprised to see that it was actually true. During TV time before bed, the youngest child came to me on his own for the first time and sat next to me. Up until now, whenever I try to interact, he often says “No” or “go away,” so I was kind of happy. We’re slowly building a relationship of trust.
子どもたちが朝からボールを追いかけ、朝ごはんをなかなか食べないため、いつもよりゆっくりな朝だった。弟くんがヘッドフォンのコードを鍵にして棚の扉を開けようとしていたが、もちろん鍵ではないから開けられなかった。ドアノブに映る顔をみて、「〇〇’s face！」と言って笑顔だった。
朝から寝る直前まで今日はおんぶ、抱っこをずっと求められ、それをするたびに「so fun」と言ってテンション爆上がりだった。ファミリーと一緒に買い物行った時に、会計前にも関わらず飲むヨーグルトを食べさせていて、オーストラリアではレジに通せば会計前でも食べてオッケーらしく、聞いてはいたけど本当にそうなんだと驚いた。寝る前のテレビタイムで、弟君が初めて自分から私の方によってきて、隣に座り、もたりながら見ていた。これまでずっと近くに行くと高確率で「NO」、「あっちにいけ」と言われていたからなんか嬉しかった。少しずつ信頼関係ができてきたのが見えて嬉しい。
