In the morning, the child asked me, “Can you help me take my kitty dress?”. She handed me two hair ties and a ribbon and told me,” Can you plait my hair?”, and when I did, she looked very happy. It was a good weather in afternoon, and we played outside. We could see a faint moon in the sky, and when I said, “Look! It’s the moon!” they both pointed at the sky and exclaimed, “Moon!”When the bus was through, they said “bye-bye bus” and waved their hands, the bus driver realized that and waving hands to us. It’s so a kind and peaceful world.
After that, their dad went outside, so I prepared a surprise for Father’s Day. I whispered to a 4-year-old girl, “Do you wanna make a surprise for your dad? Because Father’s Day is next week!” She showed interest. We made a message card, whispering in each other’s ears. “What do you want to say to dad? I can write it here for you,” I said, and she began to speak a message filled with love. Just as we finished making it, her dad came home. We quickly packed up, and when I told her, “It’s a secret, so don’t tell that”, she said, “Okay”, but still seemed like she wanted to tell him something. Her dad asked us normally, “What day is it today?” but she seemed a little upset, as if she couldn’t get the surprise out of her head, and tried to say “Daddy’s day…” so I quickly gave her the hint, “Friday.” I was also nervous, lol. “Friday is fish and chips!” her dad said, and she went to help make it. Children usually make a mess in the bath, but with all the whispering and high-fives, they were quieter than usual. The fish and chips for dinner were amazing!
「キティのドレスとるの手伝ってくれない？」と始まる朝。ヘアゴム二つとリボンを持って「三つ編みして」と言われ、三つ編みをすると嬉しそうにしていた。昼は天気が良かったので外で遊んだ。空にうっすらと月が見えて、「見て！月だよ！」というと2人とも空に向かって指を指しながら「moon！」と叫んでいた。バスが来た時には「バイバイバス」と手を振っていて、気づいたバスの運転手さんも手を振りかえしてくれた。優しい平和な世界。
そのあとは、パパが外に出かけたのでそのタイミングを見計らって、来週の父の日のためにサプライズ準備。小声で4歳の子に「サプライズしてみない？来週は父の日だからね！」というと、興味を示した。そこからは小声で耳元で囁くように2人で話しながら、メッセージカードを作った。「何か言いたいことある？代わりにここに書いてあげるよ」というと愛に溢れたメッセージを話し始めた。ちょうど作り終わったタイミングでパパが帰宅。急いで撤収して、「秘密だよ」というと「わかった」と言いながらも、話したげな様子。パパが「今日は何曜日？」と普通に質問しているのに対し、サプライズが頭から離れないのか少し動揺しながら（daddy’s day…）と言おうとするので、「Friday」と即座にヒントを出す。こっちもヒヤヒヤ笑 「金曜日はフィッシュアンドチップス！」とパパが言い、作るのを手伝いに行っていた。いつもはお風呂で暴れるのに、ヒソヒソ話とハイタッチが効いていつもよりはおとなしかった。夜ごはんのフィッシュアンドチップス最高だった！
