It was fathers’s Day in Australia. The day was finally coming when we could give their dad the message card we had been preparing for a week. Before I went out, I gave the card to the 4-year-old girl, and she shyly took it to her dad and handed it to him. I’m glad he was happy to receive it!
I went to the Caversham Wildlife Park, which other friends recommended. I was happy to go there! The forecast was absolutely rainy, and we discussed whether we should go or not, but it was good, even crazy weather. We didn’t have an idea except walking and the car, so we headed to walk for about 30 minutes. We could see wild kangaroos! This wildlife park is so big, we can see and touch a lot of animals. We could take a picture with a Koala and a snake. I saw a white kangaroo for the first time. It was a really nice day!
The return trip had a few unexpected incidents. We realized about the free tram and decided to take it, but at our destination station, no one got off, and the tram operator didn’t announce anything. It didn’t seem like anyone was supposed to get off, so we were confused when the tram turned around and went back to the starting station. It turned out that most people had just gotten on the tram for fun, and this whole situation was so weird that we both burst out laughing. We had to wait for the next departure, and we ended up wasting an hour, even though we thought it would be faster than walking. Then, when we boarded the train, my IC card showed an error, and it looked like I had tapped it twice, so the inspector thought I hadn’t entered the station properly. It wasn’t intentional, so I only got a warning, but apparently the fine is $100. Scary! Despite these unexpected incidents, it was a fun day!
オーストラリアは今日が父の日だった。１週間前から準備していたメッセージカードをようやく渡す日がきた。私が出かける前にカードを４歳の子に渡すと、少し恥ずかしがりながらそーっとパパに渡しに行っていた。喜んでいたからよかった！
友だちとキャバーシャム・ワイルドライフ・パークに行った。他の友だちからもおすすめされていて行きたかった場所だから嬉しい！天気予報は雨で一時は行くか迷ったけど、行ってよかった。最寄りのホワイトマンパーク駅から徒歩か車でしかいけないと思っていた私たちは３０分ほど歩いて向かった。途中で野生のカンガルーに会えたのでよかった。このワイルドライフパークはほんとに広くて、たくさんの動物を見たり触れることができた。天気は急に晴れたり雨が降ったり読めない感じだったけど、ずっと雨じゃなくて良かった。コアラとヘビと近くで写真をとることができた。白いカンガルーは初めて見た。一日中いれるし、充実した時間で楽しい１日になった！
帰りは少しハプニング。無料のトラムがあることを知って、のったはいいけど、目的地の駅で誰も降りないし、乗務員が何か声をかけてくれる訳でもなく、降りる雰囲気でもなく、戸惑ってたら折り返して乗った駅に戻ってしまった。ほとんどの人がここで降りて、ほとんどがただトラムに乗りにきただけの人たちだったぽくこの状況があり得なさすぎて2人で爆笑した。次の出発を待つことしかできず、歩いていくより早く着くはずだったのに1時間もロスしてしまった。電車に乗る時も、ICカードがエラーで2回タップしたことになって、エントリーの状態になっていなくてインスペクターに捕まった。わざとじゃないから注意で済んだけど本来なら＄１００罰金らしい。恐ろしい。最後はハプニングが続いたけど、楽しい１日だった！
