A 4-year-old girl looked happy yesterday because she got a tiny flag that was stuck in the sandwich. So I said to her, “Do you want to make your own flag?” She expressed interest. We made a stick with paper. She seemed very happy with only a stick, when I suggested “we will continue it in the afternoon”, but she wanted to make it right now, so I quickly made it and gave it to her. I told her, “You can make a decoration on the flag!” She drew something, and then enjoyed waving the flag. When we went supermarket and played in the park, she proudly told the store clerk and the adults nearby, “〇〇(my name) made a flag for me!”. When I watched my smartphone in the afternoon, she came and said, “What are we gonna make today?” I showed her a video. We decided to let them choose from the videos and create something bigger than usual. It seemed complicated because it involved cutting cardboard into several pieces and various other steps. But because she wanted to make something herself, she was more focused than usual. We went to a national park along the way, and even though she usually doesn’t tidy up after playing, when I asked her, “Can you help me tidy up a little?”, she started tidying. At the park, he greeted people we passed and even talked to other parents with babies, saying, “〇〇 taught me how to count in Japanese! One is ‘ichi,’ two is ‘ni’…”. I felt so happy seeing that. That evening, when we were watching TV, a 2-year-old boy pointed to the sofa and said, “Here!” and invited me to sit next to him. Since this rarely happens with a 2-year-old boy, his dad was surprised and said, “Best friend!”
昨日サンドイッチに刺さっていた小さい旗をゲットして喜んでいたので、「自分だけの旗作ってみる？」と言ったら興味津々だった。朝から紙でまずスティックを作った。それだけでもかなり喜んでくれて、「続きは午後にしよう」と言うと、「今作りたい」と譲らないのでささっと作って、渡した。「旗に何か絵描いていいよ」と言うと一生懸命デザインして、旗を振って喜んでいた。スーパーに出かけた時も、公園で遊ぶときも店員さんや近くにいた大人に「〇〇（私の名前）made flag for me!」と言って自慢げだった。午後は昼ごはんを食べ終わってスマホを見ていたら、「何かつくろう」と寄ってきて、動画の中から選ばせてあげていつもよりも大きいものを作ることにした。段ボールをいくつかにカットしたり、いろんな過程があるから難しそうにしていた。でも自分の作りたいものだからいつもよりも集中していた。途中で国立公園へ出かけることになって、いつもは遊んだもの片付けないのに、「少し片付けられる？」と聞くと片付けていた。公園ではすれ違う人に挨拶したり、赤ちゃん連れの親子に話しかけていて、「〇〇が日本語のカウント教えてくれたから、言えるよ！ one is いち、two is にー、、、」と教えていた。なんだかちょっと嬉しい。夜テレビを見るときに、２歳の子が「here！」とソファを指差しながら呼んでくれて、隣に座ってテレビを見た。２歳の子がこうしてくれることはまだなかなかないから、それを見ていたパパが驚きながら「best friend！」と言ってきた笑
