I tried to apply for jobs. I have already applied for a lot of jobs, but there has been no reply. I’m a foreigner here, so I know it’s difficult to get a job. I don’t feel down. I’m not in a place where I can go and hand out my resume in person right now, so I’m going to apply online to as many jobs as I can find near where I’ll be living next.
Today I went to the beach with the children, and then, since it was Friday, we made fish and chips. A family friend was visiting so we had dinner together.
今日は何件か仕事応募した。すでに応募しているところはたくさんあるけど、なかなか連絡がこない。ただでさえ、ここでは外国人の立場で仕事をゲットすることは簡単ではないことはわかっているので、すぐ落ち込まないで、今は直接レジュメを配りに行ける場所にいないから、今度住む場所の近くでオンライン応募を片っ端からしていく作戦でいこう。
今日は子どもたちとビーチに行って、その後金曜日なのでフィッシュアンドチップスを作った。ファミリーの友だちが来ていたので一緒にご飯を食べた。
