I met up with a Thai friend from language school for the first time in two years. It had been such a long time since we last saw each other, and we were so happy and hugged when we finally met. She said she fell in love with Japanese food and Japan after traveling to Japan. She wants to visit every year, which made me so happy to hear. We went for Japanese food for lunch. After that, we went shopping and she bought me some shoes. When I asked her, “Are you sure?”, she smiled and said, “It’s a gift to you.” After that, we went to a Sanrio cafe and we had drinks at a bar along the Yarra River. I was really sad to say goodbye, but I hope to see her again in Thailand, Japan, or somewhere else.
After that, I met up with a friend I met while studying childcare. We went to a cake shop and talked about the past two years and childcare, and she taught me a lot. She has always studied hard and has been involved in early childhood education since we met two years ago, so I really respect her.
2年ぶりに語学学校で一緒だったタイ人の友だちに会った。ほんとに久しぶりの再会でお互い待ち侘びていて、会えた瞬間に抱き合って喜んだ。彼女は日本に旅行に行ってから日本食や日本のことが大好きになった、毎年旅行にいきたいと言っていてそれを聞いて嬉しかった。お昼は日本食を食べに行った。そのあとショッピングをして、靴を買ってくれた。ほんとにいいの？というと「私からのプレゼントだから」と笑顔だった。そのあとはサンリオのカフェに行った。最後にヤラリバー沿いのバーでお酒を飲んだ。別れるのがほんとに寂しかったけど、次はタイか日本かどこかで会えることを願っている。
そのあとは保育コースで勉強してた時に出会った友だちと会った。ケーキ屋さんに行って、これまでの２年間のことや保育のことなど色々話したり、教えて貰った。出会った2年前から、いつも真面目に勉強して、幼児教育に関わっている方だからほんとに尊敬する。
