Located right in the middle of Lonsdale Street, which runs from QV Melbourne to Southern Cross Station, if you go down a narrow alley, you will find Tori’s, a cafe that always has a queue.
This shop’s most popular item is the matcha latte. Both the iced and hot matcha lattes were rich and delicious!
I think the price of a matcha latte was around 7-8 dollars two years ago. Maybe it’s a bit more expensive now…?
Tori’s also has cakes!!
I had the impression that cakes overseas were too sweet, but the cakes here were Japanese-style and delicious for Japanese people. It might be a good place to go if you miss Japanese cakes (lol)
There are so many varieties that it’s hard to choose!!
The shortcake was $12 (2023).
The atmosphere was great, and even though it was a spacious, calm space, it was always bustling with customers. That’s what the cafe was like. If I have the chance to go to Melbourne again, I’d like to go there again!!
The prices are a little expensive, but it’s worth it.
